Soaps
We make our lye soaps using the cold process method. Our soapmaker “superfats” each batch to allow some of the wonderful properties of the oils to remain in the soap when the lye is finished doing its job. She uses Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, and Castor Oil in every soap (unless specified). Along with those oils we use a combination of other oils that may include Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Grapeseed Oil, and Palm Kernel Oil. We include many other additives for extra moisturizing, nourishing, and cleansing properties in the soap. We add each ingredient for a reason and consider each a necessary component to achieve the desired luxurious outcome.
Fragrance is an important factor in our soaps. We like to be able to smell the soap, therefore we scent many of our soaps with Essential Oils while Fragrance oils are used in some and a few are Unscented.
Many of our soaps contain micas to add color and personality to the bars. We also use natural additives for color as in the photo above.
Lotions
We make our thick, luxurious lotion in small batches. Each bottle of lotion contains many nourishing and moisturizing oils and butters as well as aloe vera and glycerin. We also lightly scent our lotion with our most popular soap fragrances; however, you may special order any fragrance we have available.
